ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS:
Our Digital output process requires that your logo or artwork to be in any Vector (defined by lines and curves) format. It can not be in a bitmap format, composed of small squares or pixels of color, because bitmaps cannot be greatly enlarged without revealing their checkerboard-like nature. Most logos are originally created as vector formats because vectors are easily edited, and only converted into bitmaps after they are finished.
If your only artwork source is in the form of a slick or separation, we can convert it into a digital file for you at a per hour labor charge.
See below for examples of the difference between vector and bitmap artwork:
Bitmap files typically have filename extensions such as .tiff, .gif, or .jpeg.
Common vector file formats end in .ai, .eps, .cmx, or .wmf filename extensions.
